Hissyfit is the result of of two Australian women's quest for practical sun protection, Meet Lou Dobson and Sue Smethurst; an Olympic athlete and a magazine editor. Friends for many years who, despite our diverse lifestyles and careers, were both struggling to find an everyday make-up with full SPF 50+ protection which was needed to give full protection from the Australian sun.
They were blending sunscreen and foundation together or having to layer sunscreen followed by foundation every day to get the finish and protection they wanted. It became an obsession for them to find a foundation with SPF 50+. Tinted sunscreens gave some protection but the colour choice was poor and the finish too sheer; foundations offered great coverage but no real environmental protection. They were desperate for a product that delivered both, so they threw a little Hissyfit and created their own!
So they consulted with a team of experts, make-up artists, a cosmetic surgeon and the world’s best organic chemist who created a gorgeous range of shades for every skin type.
